Alyson Land
Director
Mrs. Land joined SUMC Preschool as Director in 2025 after spending 2 years as a stay at home mom with her 3 kiddos (2 of which will be attending SUMC preschool as well). She has 15+ years in education - teaching in the classroom (pre-k through 2nd grade) and as a reading specialist. Mrs. Land loves to cook, play outside with her kids, go to FC Cincinnati games with her husband, and travel. Her favorite children's book is Giraffes Can’t Dance. Lori Rawlings
Office Manager
Miss Lori joined SUMC Preschool in 2021 first as a parent, then as a sub and assistant teacher. Now that her son is in elementary school, she's putting her previous event management skills to use working in the office. Miss D began teaching at SUMC in 2021. She has twins - a boy and a girl. She loves any Llama Llama books. Miss D has been coaching high school cross country and track for 19 years.

Miss Kim started teaching at SUMC Preschool in 2021. She has two children, a son and a daughter, both in elementary school. In her spare time, she likes to garden, travel and make blanket forts with her kids. Her favorite children’s book is, “All the World,” by Liz Garton Scanlon.

Mrs. French joined the SUMC Preschool staff in 2025. She is a Christian mom of four! She has worked with children for all of her adult life, through preschool and kindergarten programs and classically homeschooling! Watching children develop skills in all areas and develop a love of learning is her favorite thing! Mrs. French believes in engaging many learning styles and a child's imagination and creativity to build a knowledge base and awake their wonder in the created world. She has the hardest time picking a favorite children's book, but anything by Dr. Seuss or A.A. Milne is near and dear to her heart!

Miss Jen is looking forward to this upcoming school year at SUMC Preschool. She has 8 years teaching experience in 3 year old preschool programs. She and her husband are empty nesters with 2 grown, married daughters and they are expecting their first grandchild in July, a baby boy. Their new found favorite hobby is camping in their RV as it’s a great way to get out and see their girls. They have two spoiled pups who travel with them. Miss Jen is also a junior high and high school swim coach getting ready to start her 12th season this fall. Her favorite children’s book is Goodnight Moon.

Mrs. Anderson joined SUMC Preschool as an assistant teacher in 2025. She has 5 years experience teaching in the older grades, but is SO excited for her first year in preschool! She has 2 kids - a son at SUMC and a daughter in fourth grade. She loves spending time outside in her garden or on a hiking adventure! Her favorite children's book is A Color of His Own.

Miss Christa has 2 kids who previously attended SUMC Preschool. She was a school counselor for over 10 years before staying home with her children. Now that they are in school, full-time she is excited to work with the SUMC preschool students and parents. She enjoys reading and watching her children do what they love - sports and musicals. She is the owner of Tippi Toes Cincinnati, an early childhood dance company that focuses on building confidence, imagination and joy through dance and music. Miss Christa's favorite children's book is Bear Snores On.

Miss Michelle joined SUMC in Fall 2023. She is married and a mom to 3 kiddos! She has previously worked in daycare, along with nanning for local families. Miss Michelle is excited to watch your child learn & grow throughout the school year! Her favorite book is The Giving Tree.

Miss Allison is the Mom of three boys (all who have attended SUMC). Former Kindergarten teacher, PaperPie Brand Representative and until joining the SUMC staff led story time at The Book Bus in downtown Sharonville. Favorite book (she could never pick just one children's book) Nibbles the Book Monster and The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe.

Miss Shelley joined SUMC in fall 2023. She is married with 2 busy boys at home. Previously she taught kids yoga classes. She loves to read and has many favorites one being The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn.

This is Miss Jenny's second year at SUMC Preschool. After being in Louisville for 15 years, she moved back to be closer to family. She’s been teaching preschool for the last 8 years. Miss Jenny is married with 4 boys. Two live in Columbus and 2 in Cincinnati. Her youngest is a junior at UC. Her favorite children’s book is Room on the Broom.

Miss Megan has worked in her family's cleaning business full time for the last five years and before that she was a pharmacy technician for ten years. Miss Megan is with the full day kiddos every afternoon plus she is a substitute teacher when needed in the mornings. Her favorite children's book is Clifford the Big Red Dog.
