About Us
The Sharonville United Methodist Preschool was originated by members of the the Sharonville United Methodist Church for the purpose of serving the preschoolers of the Sharonville Community. Currently, Sharonville UMC Preschool serves children from Hamilton County as well as parts of Butler County.
Philosopy & Mission: We believe that children should play to learn and learn through play. Our goal is to provide a positive, developmentally appropriate hands-on and enriching environment in which children can work to achieve their best learning of social, motor, and language skills. Helping Your Child Explore, Grow and Learn
In order to help children learn through play, we use a variety of materials, including toys and games that foster gross motor and fine motor development. We also use music, books, fingerplays, rhymes, puzzles, and art activities that encourage language and listening skills.
When children play they work at learning. Each child learns in his or her own way and at their own pace, our classroom environments allow children to explore and learn as they play. We also provide activities and experiences to encourage children to question, problem-solve and engage in conversation with peers and teachers.
